Samuel Thomas: his role on VegasNow Australia

Samuel is the named author of the guides on this site. His task is practical: take long casino documents and answer the question a reader actually has, with the condition that matters printed next to the answer.

The guides speak in our voice. "Our lobby" and "your account" refer to the VegasNow casino at vegasnow.com, which Just Entertainment B.V. (Curaçao company number 160603) operates under licence OGL/2024/164/0246. That licence has been active since 13 August 2024, and anyone can confirm it on the regulator's public validator.

Samuel's research routine, from source to sentence

Every guide is built the same way, in four passes.

Here is the third pass applied. An A$140 second deposit with code VEGAS2 is matched at 100%, adding A$140 in bonus funds. At 40×, that bonus needs A$5,600 of wagering within 7 days. On pokies, which count in full, A$5,600 is at least 700 spins at the A$8 maximum. On blackjack, which counts at 10%, the same requirement would take A$56,000 in stakes. Laying both lines side by side shows why the game you choose matters as much as the size of the match.

A lower match rate changes the picture again. An A$380 fourth deposit with VEGAS4 is matched at 25%, adding A$95, and 40× of A$95 is A$3,800 of play: about two thirds of the second-deposit figure, from a deposit almost three times larger.

Game pages get an extra check. Book of Ra comes in classic, deluxe and Magic editions, and Gates of Olympus appears as the original, the 1000 version and Super Scatter. Samuel ties each figure to the exact edition, so BGaming's 95.3% RTP for Elvis Frog in Vegas is never borrowed for a different title.

AI tools assist with organising notes and producing first drafts. They speed up structure, not judgement: Samuel checks every claim against the source he kept and rewrites or removes whatever that source does not support. The guides describe published terms and screens; they are not accounts of deposits, bets or withdrawals made for an article.

When and why Samuel updates a VegasNow page

A page changes when its source changes, not on a timetable. These are the usual triggers:

• a new promotion, code or condition on the AU promotions page, which currently lists nine recurring offers for existing players;
• a different minimum, maximum or method in the AU cashier tables;
• a change in licence status or approved domains on the regulator's validator;
• a reader correction that holds up against a source.

The update date at the top of a guide moves only for a change in substance. A new layout or a fixed typing slip does not count. Document dates stay visible alongside the facts they support: the general bonus terms are dated 26 February 2024, and the account terms show version 2.3 of 20 January 2024. A recent page date does not turn an older clause into a new offer.

When two of our documents disagree, Samuel prints both readings instead of quietly choosing one. The account terms snapshot describes dormancy after 120 days without activity, for example, while a separate AU document gives 12 months. A guide that meets a conflict like that tells you to confirm the version shown inside your account.
